As with most of the Shoyoroll gi’s I highlight here, this isn’t a review per say since you really won’t find this gi brand new unless you’re willing to pay a ridiculous amount of money for it. Resellers know people want this gi so they’ll charge you an arm and a leg, possibly your soul for it as well.

Is it worth the amount they’ll charge? To me no but you might want this gi so bad you’ll pay it so it’s all up to you, the consumer. I suggest if you see a gi you like from Shoyoroll then you best try your hardest to purchase it when it drops from their respected retailers.

Quick Review

The Shoyoroll Navy Cements is an IBJJF approved gi that I personally love the color combo of and have been in awe of it since it came out. I finally got to acquire a brand new one through a trade and haven’t regretted it. It now serves as a competition gi for me but I do use it at least once a week in training so I know how it moves and feels.

The biggest downside to this gi and most navy gi’s, is how quickly they fade. While they do look awesome faded, I wish they held their color just a little bit longer but that’s not really any companies fault.

The 450 jacket and ripstop pants make for an awesome combination to use for competition and while I don’t suggest using it for a hard training regimen (three times a week or more) it is a gi and it is made to be rode hard and hung up wet. gi hoarding to resell is for poseurs, use your gi’s grapplers.
